Alphacrucis University College presents
The Future of Worship
Research & Practice
25–26 September 2026 · Alphacrucis University College, Sydney
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Bringing research and practice together
Supported by the Australasian Pentecostal Studies Centre, this two-day conference is built for scholars and practitioners alike: worship leaders, teams, researchers and students. Most conferences speak to only one of those groups. The Future of Worship is designed to put research and practice in the same room, in conversation.
What insights can worship studies and theological research contribute to a local church’s musical worship? What experiences of local church worship can shape research projects and agendas? And as worshippers, how do we respond to our present context and the time in which we live to create and foster worship that is transformative, inviting and compelling into the future?
