Biography

Allan Heaton Anderson is Professor of Mission and Pentecostal Studies at the University of Birmingham in England, where he has worked since 1995. He is author of nine books on Pentecostalism and African independency, co-editor of three others, and many articles. His Introduction to Pentecostalism (two editions) has been published in Spanish and Swedish, and this and To the Ends of the Earth are being translated into Korean. His main research interest has been in the history of Pentecostalism and the relationship between Pentecostal Christianity and pre-Christian religion, especially in the African context.
