Dr Bev Norsworthy
Bev joined the staff of the Bethlehem Tertiary Institute, NZ in 2001 and since then has taught in courses which focus on reflective practice, sociology, teaching science, assessment, being professional and working as a Christian educator. She is passionate about exploring how one’s faith and understanding of a biblical meta-narrative influences the teacher’s everyday practice. She is an active author and presenter in national and international journals and conferences relating to teacher education, Christian education, research and adult education. In 2016 Bev’s role changes from having a specific Teacher Education focus to being Head of Teaching and Learning which is a new institutional wide role. She continues as a member of the Strategic Leadership Team and the Research Committee. When not focused on BTI work, she enjoys gardening, sewing, wharf fishing and hanging out with her grandchildren.
