About this Opportunity:
The Receptionist is often the first point of contact for the college, requiring excellent communication skills, the capacity to multi-task and a high standard of personal presentation.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting Campus Director in implementing the campus calendar and timetable
- Assisting Campus Director in communications across the campus and with other Alphacrucis College sites.
- Liaising with AC Marketing Department regarding promotions, conferences, information nights and enquiries
- Provide assistance with arranging enrolment days and graduation/celebration events
- Maintain effective and appropriate communication with staff, students, suppliers, partners, and community
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information about Brisbane Campus on AC website and literature
- Provide support with financial expenditure and reporting (Petty Cash and Campus Corporate Card)
- Support student’s services as required in busy times
- Handling of incoming and outgoing calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Incoming mail sorting and distribution, outgoing mail, incoming faxes/emails distributed on arrival.
- Assist with photocopying and faxing for staff and students.
- Monitor the use of stationery and office supplies and reorder as necessary
- Maintain the presentation of the reception area and meeting room facilities
- Make preparations for senior management and customer meetings as required
- Perform tasks within the role as directed by the supervisor
- Cleaning of office, kitchens, and classrooms.
Required Skills and Proficiencies:
- Excellent administrative skills
- Skilled at communicating politely and diplomatically
- Proficiency in computer skills, this includes knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proven organisational skills
- Punctuality and diligence
- Commitment to the Christian faith that informs one’s professional and personal choices and commitments
- Ability to maintain discreetness and confidentiality pertaining to work-related communication and student information
- Positive attitude under pressure and flexibility when accepting task
