Details for Lead and manage team effectiveness

Students will take part in a practical placement where they will be involved in leading a team by developing team plans, leading and facilitating teamwork and reflecting on and applying skills and knowledge from the unit. Managers need to faciliate teams and build a positive culture within them. This unit takes a systematic and planned approach to developing teams. It includes the soft skills as well as the more structured approaches to the management of teams. Work may be carried out within complex and diverse methods and procedures which require the exercise of considerable discretion and judgement, using a range of problem solving and decision making strategies.
