This subject equips students with approaches, teaching methodologies and practical strategies to effectively teach Creative Arts (Drama, Dance, Media Arts, Music and Visual Arts). Students will also learn to develop their own creative capacities, as well as assessment tools appropriate to children in the primary school age group.

Outcomes

Identify in detail the administrative and communication elements;
Critically appraise materials choices relative to student age and cultural and faith backgrounds in drama programming and planning;
Construct a program which explains concepts, skills and techniques within each of the Creative Arts forms appropriate to the learning stages;
Demonstrate advanced skills in teaching music, art, dance and drama;
Develop and demonstrate criteria for critiquing music, art, dance and drama consistent with a Christian worldview.
