Outcomes

1. Develop an understanding of chaplaincy and pastoral care, with consideration given to foundations and models of chaplaincy;
2. Develop knowledge and skills foundational to chaplaincy and pastoral care with focus on interpersonal communication and respect for the religious and sociocultural values of others;
3. Examine a range of chaplaincy and pastoral care roles and contexts, with consideration given to professional, spiritual and ethical practice;
4. Discuss the need for on-going personal and professional development and supervision.
