ABOUT AC RESEARCH

AC Research support AC’s mission of equipping Christian leaders to change the world by improving lives locally, nationally, and globally through innovative research and commitment to the Gospel. AC Research aims to cultivate and sustain a research culture that empowers faculty and higher degree research students in their calling to be public witnesses to Christ in various disciplines. We also promote collaboration with external partners, including churches and faith-based organisations, in ways that will lead to real-world impact through advances in research.

Our researchers are active across a wide range of fields, including theology, ministry, biblical studies, education, business, social science, humanities, economics, communication, and leadership. AC Research provides grant funding, training, and professional development, while also hosting research events such as seminars and international conferences. We support the work of the AC research centres, including the Australasian Pentecostal Studies Centre and the Centre for the Future of Schooling.

AC Research also provides resources for HDR students, including conference funding, methodological training, research software, and professional development. We provide financial support to help HDR students, as well as faculty, to publish their work with high-quality academic journals and publishers.

Our higher degree research (HDR) programs include the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor of Ministry (DMin), and Master of Philosophy (MPhil), in the broad fields of theology, education, and business.
