ABOUT THE UNIT

Both letters. Five days. In depth.

Paul wrote to a church in Corinth that was falling out over status, spiritual gifts, and what they actually believed. Those questions still come up in churches today.

Dr Adam White takes you through both letters over five days. You’ll read them closely, ask the hard questions, and finish with a solid understanding you can use in ministry.

FAQS

Questions you might have.

Yes. It’s a subject, not a public event, so you need to be enrolled in a course. The Graduate Certificate is the easiest way in — it’s four subjects, and this can be your first one. Enquire and we’ll sort it out with you.

BIB353 is undergraduate, BIB563 is postgraduate. You sit in the same room for the same week. The only difference is the assessment — postgraduate students do a bit more written work.

You need to be in a course, but the Graduate Certificate is only four subjects. This counts as one of them. It’s a real qualification without a multi-year commitment, and you can keep going to a master’s later if you want.

Yes, for eligible domestic students. FEE-HELP lets you defer the fee and repay it later through the tax system. Your advisor will check if you qualify when you enquire.

Full days of teaching from Monday to Friday, morning and afternoon. You do some reading beforehand, and there’s an assessment afterwards. It’s a big week, and that’s what makes it stick.
