CHANGE OF NAME BY APRIL 18
If you wish to change your name, you must provide Alphacrucis (AC) University College with supporting evidence by April 18th, 2025. To request any changes to your name, you must provide a marriage certificate, change of name certificate, current passport, driver licence or birth certificate. You will need to contact Student Support (details below). To request a name change, submit the Change of Name form.
FINALISING OUTSTANDING FEES
You must ensure that all of your outstanding course fees and library fines are paid before you graduate. You will not be permitted to graduate until all fees are paid. To finalise any outstanding course fees, please contact Student Support (details below).
INABILITY TO ATTEND THE CEREMONY
Graduands who are no longer able to attend the ceremony should notify AC staff as soon as possible, but no later than 12pm on Friday 9th May, 2025, by contacting Student Support (details below).
INVITING FRIENDS AND FAMILY
Your family and friends are welcome to attend the ceremony and celebrate your accomplishments. The doors open for your guests at 2pm.
Graduands can book up to 5 guest tickets. If you require more tickets please email Student Support (details below).
To pre-purchase photography packages visit the Graduand Booking Portal. Please double check your information in the portal and correct any mistakes before the ceremony.
To access the portal you will need to log in with the following details:

A 6 digit code will then be sent to your email for you to complete your login.
*If your student number starts with a zero, drop the zero from your student number to log in.

TIME AND DATE
Graduation Ceremony – 2:30pm Saturday 10th May, 2025
Venue: ICC Sydney, Pyrmont Theatre, 14 Darling Dr, Sydney NSW 2000
DRESS CODE
Graduation is one of the greatest days of your college life and your dress should reflect the value and dignity of the occasion. Although you will be supplied with academic regalia, the following dress standards apply:
Males
Collared shirt and tie, long trousers, and shoes. Jacket/suits are optional.
Females
Appropriate outfit that allows the graduation gown to rest comfortably. Safety pins will be available on the day to assist with gowning. Please be aware that there is
a staircase between student seating and the stage so please wear comfortable shoes.
Academic Dress
Academic dress will be provided on the day – this includes the hood or stole for your degree, academic gown and trencher (hat). Academic dress must be worn to graduate. Most Higher Education students will also be wearing a black trencher, so please style your hair to accommodate the wearing of a hat. Staff will be there to assist you to robe correctly. As noted below, your academic dress can be collected at the venue from 11:30am to 1pm after you register.
11:30AM ARRIVAL
Arrive at the ICC Sydney Pyrmont Theatre and register at the Level 2 Pyrmont Theatre reception desk.
Regalia will be given to you in the Robing Room (C2.1). The regalia you are gowned in is specific to the level of study and course that you have completed.
12:45PM GRADUAND REHEARSAL
All graduands to be seated in the auditorium for the ceremony briefing
1:30PM
Doors open for guests.
2:30PM GRADUATION BEGINS
Students will receive their official graduation documents as part of the ceremony presentation.
4:30PM GRADUATION CONCLUDES
Graduates are encouraged to have family portraits taken in Room C2.2 whilst still in their regalia.
Please return your official regalia to Room C2.1 by 5.30pm.
CAR PARKING
Parking is available in Carpark 1 with direct access to the Pyrmont Theatre on Level 2 available via the lift. Access is also available via the Convention Centre Ceremonial Entrance on Iron Wharf Place, closest to Harbourside and the Sofitel, then proceed up the escalators to Level 2.
DISABILITY ARRANGEMENTS
If you or any of your guests require disability arrangements to be made such as assistance with accessing the stage or disabled parking access, please advise AC by emailing dso@ac.edu.au by 2nd May, 2025.
There are many great restaurants within walking distance of the ICC Sydney Pyrmont Theatre.
If you would like to celebrate with your family and friends after the ceremony, we would recommend making a reservation early to ensure you secure a table. Some options you may enjoy are:
