It serves to assist teachers to understand their students as individuals, and what helps them learn in the mix of relationships in the classroom. This extends into an exploration of workable classroom routines that maximise learning. Consideration of clear expectations about personal and group conduct is part of exploring classroom routines, such that timely, consistent, and fair responses to challenging behaviour are also introduced within the context of the Christian or alternate school context.
