On Friday 5 June, Dr Daniela Rizzo will be launching her new book, Animal Pneumatology: A Systematic Theological Inquiry into the Spirit’s Work in Non-Human Creatures. The book is a pioneering work of animal theology from a Pentecostal perspective. It has been praised as as “a genuinely original must-read. There is simply nothing else like it.” The book is the publication of her recently completed PhD thesis with AC, which was awarded the President’s Doctoral Research Medal as well as the Ross Winchester Award for Pentecostal Studies.
There will be two guest speakers on the evening:
- Professor Sigurd Bergmann: from the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim
- Professor David Clough: Chair in Theology and Applied Sciences at Aberdeen University.
