On Thursday 5 March, Associate Professor Jon Newton will launch his new book, How Sovereign is God?, online and in-person from the Melbourne campus.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Jon’s new book, written for both academic and general readers, uses biblical theology to explore common assumptions about God’s sovereignty. It proposes a fresh approach to how it can help us live as faithful Christians today.
Three guest speakers will present responses to the book:
- Professor Mark R Lindsay, Joan F. W. Munro Professor of Historical Theology, Deputy and Academic Dean, Trinity College Theological School, University of Divinity. Mark will officially launch the book.
- Dr Barry Chant, founder of Tabor College.
- Dr Adam Dodds, Senior Lecturer in Systematic Theology, Alphacrucis University College
