Tracey Deal

NSW Regional Director of Teaching Schools Hubs

Biography

Tracey Deal is the Regional Director of the Teaching School partnerships as well as a Tertiary Supervisor and Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Education. She has been an educator for nearly forty years, with over twenty years of experience in Christian education. She has a background as a Music Teacher and has held many leadership roles within schools such as Wellbeing Coordinator, Head of Faculty, Deputy Principal and Principal. She has sat on the Academic Committee for the Association of Heads of Independent Schools (AHISA) and has served on a range of committees within Christian Schools Australia (CSA).

She has led many mission and ministry school teams in the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and Cambodia, and has presented on student and staff wellbeing at the National Solomon Islands Teaching Symposium.

Tracey's move to tertiary education has given her the exposure to enabling, equipping and empowering the next generations of Christian educators through AC's Teaching School partnerships. Her role is to link the tertiary provider to the trainees within the Teaching School hubs.
