Outcomes

Upon completion of this subject, students should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate a systemic and critical understanding of complex and advanced organisational leadership issues and models.
  2. Demonstrate an expert ability to autonomously and analytically engage in critical reflection, synthesis and evaluation of specific leadership and organisational contexts.
  3. Critically assess and apply effective leadership practices, systems theory, organisational culture, communication, and change processes as they relate to individuals and organisations.
  4. Propose a topic of research on a contemporary leadership issue and develop an articulate research approach.
  5. Display an advanced level of integrative reflection which will inform and enhance Christian leadership practice.

Subject Content

This course may be offered in the following formats

  • Face to Face
  • E-Learning (Online)
  • Intensive: Two weeks (not necessarily consecutive): 7 hours per day for 10 days = 70 class hours + 170 hours out of class time for research, writing, exam preparation and execution, ancillary activities associated with completion of assigned tasks.
  • Extensive: Extensive: 10 days spread over the semester. This allows for students to complete readings, reflection and assessment and prepare for in-class activities between classes.
