On Monday 4 May, AC is hosting the National Institute of Christian Education’s annual research symposium, on the topic “Educating for Hope“. The symposium invites Christian educators, researchers, and scholars to engage with the three lenses shaping their calling today: Word, World, and Wisdom. Across the keynote presentations, papers, and panel discussions, participants will explore how these three lenses inform one another and together offer a richer picture of what it means to educate with hope.
The symposium’s keynote speakers will be Miriam Jessie Fisher (Laidlaw College, New Zealand), Dan Anderson (Lachlan Macquarie Institute, Canberra), and Ben Myers (Alphacrucis University College).
The mission of the National Institute of Christian Education (NICE) is to help people think, act, and teach in ways that take seriously the public truth of the gospel and its implications for the whole of life. The Institute does this through teacher training, research, and engagement with school leaders and parents.
