
Daniela is a Lecturer of Systematic Theology at AC, and her research articulates a unique intersection between systematic pneumatology and animal studies. Daniela is a Fellow of the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics, and her academic memberships extend to the Australasian Animal Studies Association, A Rocha Australia, and the Pentecostal World Fellowship Creation Care Task Force. In 2025, Daniela became the Book Review Editor for the Australasian Pentecostal Studies journal and the Leader of the Environment and Sustainability Interest Group within the Society for Pentecostal Studies, further cementing her role in shaping emerging conversations at the intersection of Pentecostal theology and ecological ethics. In the same year, Daniela was awarded both the Alphacrucis President's Doctoral Research Medal and the inaugural Ross Winchester Award for Pentecostal Studies in recognition of her innovative contributions to contemporary Pentecostal scholarship.
Daniela's published research is in the field of Pentecostal studies, and centres on the connection between animals and theology. She is a member of the Pentecostal Studies, Ecotheology and Sustainable Development and Theology and Society research clusters.
