CSP’s and scholarship information

Domestic students commencing an Alphacrucis (AC) Education course between 2023 and 2026 may qualify for a limited number of Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) made available by the Australian Government.

If you are successful in receiving a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), the “student contribution” you pay as part of the total fees for your course is significantly reduced. If you qualify for FEE-HELP, this can be used to defer payment of your student contribution.

General information

These CSPs are intended to create more opportunities for students from under-represented groups to access higher education and enter the teaching profession.

Fee Breakdown per subject*

What if I don’t qualify for a Commonwealth Supported Place?+

If you don’t qualify for a CSP you will be automatically considered for an AC scholarship as part of your application.

What is the AC Hub model?+
Alphacrucis Teaching Schools Hubs provide an alternative study pathway for some education students, with opportunities that may include closer partnership with participating schools and structured placement support. Hub opportunities, requirements, and any financial support vary by hub and are not guaranteed. If you are offered a place within a Teaching Schools Hub, the hub will confirm any applicable arrangements directly with you. For the most up-to-date information about the Hub model and current partner hubs, visit: https://www.ac.edu.au/study/education/hubs/
What if I’m not successful in joining an AC Hub?+

Placements in our hubs are highly competitive and limited. If you’re not successful in joining one of our Hubs, you can still study an education degree with AC. You will receive AC’s unique benefits of a highly practical course that also integrates a faith-based worldview into the content and teaching, with all the required placements in schools, but you will not necessarily be placed in a school throughout your course as outlined in the Hub Model brochure. You can talk to our Future Students team about the differences and what might suit you best.

What if I need to stop studying full-time at some stage of my degree?+

If for some reason you need to reduce your hours or defer your study, this should first be discussed with your Program Director and if you are in a Hub, also discussed with your school. AC will work towards the best outcome with you for this, but please note this may impact any CSP contribution for your course.

How can I find out more information?+
You can talk to our Future Students team to find out more about all of AC’s education courses, including the Bachelor of Education, Master of Teaching, Certificates in Teacher Preparation, as well as Leadership and PhD programs for school leaders and principals. The team can also help with how to apply and further questions about CSPs and fee structure.
