  1. Identify the literary and socio-historical context, content, structure and themes of the Major and Minor Prophets; 
  2. Display clear knowledge of divine involvement in the world, as seen in biblical prophetic literature, and its significance in its ancient Near East setting; 
  3. Exegete critically both the primary biblical material and secondary literature from a range of perspectives; 
  4. Analyse the background, content, composition and theological motifs of Old Testament prophecy; 
  5. Evaluate Yahweh’s involvement in human history as seen in the prophetic literature.
