  1. Critically evaluate the sociological and religious factors affecting gender roles throughout church history;
  2. Discuss the role of the bible in the current debate over women in ministry and leadership;
  3. Analyse the contexts in which egalitarian leaders operate in churches. This includes particular focus on Pentecostal contexts;
  4. Examine the place of women and men working together in contemporary church ministries;
  5. Demonstrate a broad knowledge of key Christian women and men, across historical and cultural boundaries, that have influenced the perception of shared ministry; 
  6. Construct a personal philosophy of egalitarian ministry.
