Information for Applicants

Alphacrucis is a Christian college for tertiary education, and welcomes applicants from varied backgrounds who desire an education based on a Christian worldview. No test of religion, politics, race or gender is administered to determine admission as a student.

The Application Form is to be read and completed in conjunction with the relevant information on the Alphacrucis website, including information on admissions and courses.

The following information is relevant for Australian applicants OR International applicants who will be studying via our distance learning platform. International applicants who will be studying in Australia should go directly to the International Students webpage.

How To Apply

Step 1: Course of Sudy

Choose the course that you would like to study and determine whether you meet the entry requirements. Some courses require additional forms and documentation to be submitted with this Application Form. Step 2: Lodging an Application

Complete all sections and return to Alphacrucis along with your certified* documentary evidence of your identity and qualifications. The mailing address is: AC Admissions Office PO Box 337 Parramatta NSW 2124 Australia.

STEP 3: Documentation

All supporting documentation must be included with the Application Form. Faxed or emailed applications will NOT be processed until the original copy of the application with its supporting documentation has been received.

Copies of certificates and educational awards need to be certified*, and if in another language, must be accompanied by an official English translation.

STEP 4: Fees

Applications cannot be processed until Application Fees (if required) are paid. Some courses require Application Fees and all International Applicants must pay an International Student Application Fee. Please check the up-to-date information on fees on the Fees and FEE-HELP Information page of our website.


STEP 5: Credit for Previous Study

Requests for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Advanced Standing should be submitted with the Application. Applicants who have succesfully completed relevant study or courses at recognised tertiary institutions may apply for a Transfer of Credit. Official transcripts detailing studies undertaken must be submitted. RPL from life and ministry experience will be considered upon request. A fee applies for RPL applications.


Further Requirements

Applicants should check our eLearning requirements for most of our courses because Moodle is our eLearning (internet-based) plaform for learning, resources, and assignments. Students need regular access to the internet in order to access Moodle. Also, students should have regular access to a reasonable academic library for research.

Some courses have further entry requirements. Check your course's entry requirements and make sure that you have fulfilled them before filling out your application. Please refer to the Course Entry Requirements page for further information on this.

What Next?

Our Admissions Office will contact you regarding the progress of your application. if your applications is approved, you will be sent a Letter of Offer and Student Agreement Form. You may select the subjects / units you would like to enrol in for the next term and submit an Enrolment Form (available in the PDF documents section of this website).

Further information will be sent to you to assist you to begin your studies.

Additional Information

Certified copies must be signed by a Justice of the Peace or public notary, stating that the copy is true to the original.

Any application fees, if required, can be paid by cash (only in person - do not send cash through the post), cheque, credit card (Master Card or Visa), EFTPOS, or direct deposit.
