COVID-19 UPDATES

AC is committed to the well-being and safety of our students and staff, now and into the future.

As the COVID-19 restrictions continue to ease, we are planning for a full return to face-to-face learning for all campuses in 2021.*

Our online campus and zoom options continue to be available for all AC courses.

Both our return to campus and our Covid-Safe plan are in line with government advice. Keeping our community safe is of the utmost importance.

ON CAMPUS FACE-TO-FACE FROM SEMESTER 1 2021

All face-to-face classes for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart and Auckland will commence in Semester 1, 2021.

Classes start in February or March 2021 (depending on the course).

Face-to-face learning will meet required safe physical distancing measures and hygiene practices, as detailed in AC's COVID-Safe Plan. Practical placement subjects, such as for our Social Science and Education awards, will continue to meet safe physical distancing measures and hygiene practices. State-of-the-art online and zoom option are still available for all AC courses, regardless of where students are located.

As Australia emerges from COVID-19, AC is fast-tracking admissions of new applications and new enrolments for Semester 1, 2021.*

Loan Fee Exemption

The Australian Government has announced an exemption from the FEE-HELP Loan Fee for undergraduate students between April 2020 and June 2021.

Students who access a FEE-HELP loan to undertake a unit with a census date that occurs between 1 April 2020 and 30 June 2021, will not be charged the 25% Loan Fee for HE Courses (or 20% for VET Courses). All undergraduate units that are delivered by a provider approved for FEE-HELP and with a census date between 1 April 2020 and 30 June 2021 will receive the Loan fee exemption.

More information on the Loan Fee Exemption can be found at: https://www.dese.gov.au/covid-19/higher-education/higher-education-faq.
