Outcomes

Identify and develop a complex research question which demonstrates specialist knowledge of research principles and methods applicable to the relevant field;
Autonomously and analytically engage in critical reflection, synthesis and evaluation of the body of theoretical knowledge related to a particular area in the field of specialisation;
Demonstrate intellectual independence to think critically, evaluate existing knowledge and ideas, undertake systematic investigation and reflect on theory and practice to generate original knowledge;
Produce a substantial body of creative and innovative work which communicates effectively complex theoretical propositions, methodologies and conclusions in a coherent, sustained argument for proposed solutions to peers and general audiences;
Demonstrate an expert level of independent, integrative reflection which will inform and enhance theoretical knowledge and/or professional practice from a Christian worldview, and provide creative responses to contemporary challenges.*
