From worship directors and pastors, to instrumentalists and vocalists, this innovative program is designed to equip people involved in worship music for their unique ministry.
Course Description
When you join AC -- no matter your level of musical experience -- in our CUA30920 Certificate III in Music, you will learn invaluable performance and improvisation techniques; as well as improve your song writing, chart reading, arranging, recording and music directing skills.
You will also gain a critical understanding of the music industry, musical genres and copyright. Delivered online, this nationally recognised qualification is suitable for all people at all levels of musicianship, even if you have no previous formal vocal or instrumental training.
Course Structure
This course comprises 11 units of competency to be completed over 6 months full time and consists of:
- 4 Core units
- 7 Elective units
To be awarded the Certificate III in Music Industry, students must show competency in 4 core and 7 elective units.

Elective / 7 Units (70 credit points)
- MINPAS402 Work in a ministry team
- MINTHE404A Promote a Christian worldview
- CUAMCP313 Create simple musical pieces using music technology
- CUAMPF312 Prepare for musical performances
- CUAMPF315 Develop and perform musical improvisation
- CUAMPF311 Develop technical skills in music performances

Entry Requirements
Essential Requirements: Nil.
Recommended Requirements: For prospective students from a non-English speaking background, an IELTS Score of 5.5 (or demonstrate equivalent English proficiency) is recommended.
