It helps to identify trends and emergent technologies in the music industry and critically think about how these can be incorporated into own work practice. It works to encourage the student to develop ideas, liaise with relevant people in the music industry, share ideas with them, listen to and acknowledge feedback, and finally, to effectively carry out work in the music industry.
