Outcomes

  1. Describe a broad range of syntactic issues within Biblical Hebrew narrative and poetic texts.
  2. Critically evaluate the process of interpreting difficult passages of the OT;
  3. Translate and exegete advanced passages of the Hebrew OT into idiomatic English;
  4. Analyse and synthesise linguistic issues that affect translation, exegesis and exposition.
