Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate advanced skills in formulating directorial intention and vision from a Christian worldview that presents relevance and desired impact on a modern audience;
  2. Demonstrate advanced knowledge, understanding and critical analysis of the creative processes involved in staging a theatrical production;
  3. Demonstrate detailed research into the context of a play text that identifies the ideas presented, reveals how they are connected to create a cohesive work and how it might be staged for an audience;
  4. Explain in detail directorial intention(s) that inform the staging of particular moments in a developed play, and how the performance and production elements function together to create these moments;
  5. Critically analyse live performances experienced and how these have influenced, inspired or informed the direction of particular moments in a developed play.
