1. Demonstrate the ability to use the functions of English language in theological contexts;
2. Demonstrate listening and reading skills through awareness of technical aspects of English;

4. Identify and incorporate developing English reading and writing skills in academic research, and demonstrate appropriate research skills (such as searching, selecting, summarising and referencing);
5. Synthesise and integrate academic English into contemporary theological study.
